Despite the emergence of alternative channels such as RCS or OTT messaging applications, A2P SMS remains one of the key services in messaging. In this regard, several predictions about the demise of A2P SMS have proven to be inaccurate. The main reason behind this is the ubiquity that SMS presents, as it is compatible across all devices.
Every year since 2015 ROCCO has released two Vendor Benchmarking reports of A2P SMS Messaging from both the MNO and enterprise perspectives. From February to April 2022 ROCCO has asked both operators and enterprises globally to give perception on A2P SMS Messaging Vendors, how well they know them and how would they rate them.
